Cam and Dana have been intensely studying the Bible and experts of all areas of Christian marriages for 25 years now. All they want to do is pass on to couples everything that has greatly helped their marriage.
Cam has a Master of Divinity degree and is a licensed and ordained minister. Dana is a public school teacher and enjoys women's Bible study and prayer groups.
They have been married since 1996 and truly find great happiness in serving God by serving couples.
MyWeddedBliss workshop is a FREE, 9-LESSON, 4-LEVEL INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP where we cover the 9 most crucial areas of marriage. Each session/lesson is full of Scripture, real-life application, discovery and discussion. Each session/lesson can take between 10-30 minutes and corresponds with a WORKSHEET. You can complete "101" ON YOUR OWN at YOUR OWN PACE if you like! However, all 4 levels do work best with personal instruction from Cam & Dana.
It is for couples, singles, those who are engaged, and for those who have been married up to 70 years. It's marriage vitamins! If your marriage is not a 9.5, it can be!
MyWeddedBliss101 is the introductory level. The basics. It lays the foundation from the Bible and the experts. It is the "KNOW" Level.
MyWeddedBliss202 takes a deeper dive into those same 9 areas and includes "Assessments." It is the "GROW" Level.
MyWeddedBliss303 includes Q & A with group discussion and videos from the experts. It is the "SHOW"Level
MyWeddedBliss404 involves student teaching and marriage ministry launching. It is the "GO" Level. So fun! Enjoy!
At the very beginning we discuss the course and give our marriage, at the present, a "grade.". (We give our marriage a grade from 1-10 at the beginning and then again at the end of the course.)
Love: Philos, Eros and Agape
We learn what these are and how to apply them to our marriage. We also learn to love our spouse in a way that matters to them. Love languages!
Personalities: 2 Becoming 1
We discover how God made us and why He made us that way. We learn how to accept, cherish and embrace how God made us similar to our spouse in some ways and different in others.
Your Past, Present & Future
We unpack our pasts, relate it to our present, and learn to work together to have the future we both want and dream about.
Meeting Each Other's Needs
God placed us in our relationship because we are the only one on the planet that can meet certain needs of our spouse. We learn what those are and how to do it.
Communicating Effectively
There are healthy and effective ways to communicate with our spouse and there are destructive and harmful ways. We learn the differences and apply this to our marriage.
Biblical Financial Principles
God's Word has a lot to say about money and how we can successfully use it as a tool for His glory. This session covers several areas of finances in marriage.
Your Spiritual Life Together
We learn that although we are different people, we share the same Holy Spirit with our spouse. We discover that Christ-centered lives make for a Christ-centered marriage. We explore this here.
Intimacy & Sex
We learn that God gave men the need for sex and He gave women the gift of sex. We learn that sex is the covenant seal of marriage. We cover all kinds of intimacy issues in this lesson.
Overcoming HUGE Obstacles
In this imperfect world, it is inevitable that we will face hurt, harm, trials and tribulations of all kinds and at different times. We learn how to survive and thrive when bad things happen to good marriages.
